In MUN, awards are given to delegates as recognition for their outstanding performance throughout the conference. After hours of intense debate, all-nighters spent writing speeches, and enough caffeine to power the entire world, these hard-working delegates are finally rewarded when the chairs present them with an award.

Awards include:

• Best Delegate: The GOAT of the committee. You nailed your speeches in both quality and quantity and contributed to the conference with all your heart. 

• Honorable Mention: You made a huge impact. Whether as the best speaker or the chaos agent who kept debate exciting, the chair recognizes you. Just short of Best Delegate.

• Most Improved Delegate: You started out shy, but as time went on, you locked in and grew in confidence and contribution.

Keep in mind that these awards are almost always offered at the majority of conferences around the world. And yes, you can use them to flex on your college application.
